Some more from the "binary vision - a book of lines" or "bus station experience" drawings
-
the better ones I think!

binary vision

Here are some new drawings for a project that I handed in today - the aim was to go to a space or location (I went to the Mowbray bus/taxi/train terminus) and then draw your reactions or feelings towards the space. I felt loneliness, fear, and even a sense of boredom (waiting for the bus!), so I tried my best to draw that. We also had to experiment with different media, or use whatever was appropriate to how we felt in the space, so I used a few different things.

"Wat Kyk Jy?"

Quick sketches in my new visual diary, based on the video, "Enter the Ninja" by Die Antwoord. Aiming to do at least one quick drawing every day from now on, so keep watching ...

Illustration

One of my favourite first-year projects, editorial illustration for a magazine article entitled,
"The Anatomy Lesson"
, using Rembrandt's famous painting of the same name as reference. I couldn't find a male model with the right facial expression, so ended up using my own face instead!

Acrylic paint and cartridge paper.

Real Chop

Some quick rough sketches that I used for a postcard design last week.
I like goats, and sheep.

I climbed into the attic

Just finished this one today, a double page spread for a children's story book. First two images are rough colour scamps, with the finished work below.
Acrylic paint and ink on watercolour paper.
