HDR photography

after editing in HDR

before editing in HDR
For this project we had to find any interesting landscape, natural or urban, that had an interesting mood or atmosphere. I went to the walkway along Seapoint beachfront, just as the sun was setting over the horizon.  Using a tripod, three photographs of the same scene were taken, with different shutter speeds, in order to capture different levels of exposure - over exposed, correctly exposed and under exposed.  The three shots were then merged together in Photoshop's HDR (high definition range) mode.
